While on the job you can open the Armory from the desk menu, use police vehicles, and arrest suspects in the field. Use Leave job at a desk when you want to return to civilian life.

On-duty officers earn a small passive stipend while active. When cops are scarce, that pay and some rewards can get a boost.

Officers cannot buy at Ammu-Nation (use the Armory instead) and cannot join pacifism. Stick to department tools and lawful stops unless the situation turns violent.
